Job summary

Commonwealth Motors is seeking an Import Parts Counter Specialist to support technicians and provide customers with product knowledge. We offer state of the art facilities and paid training, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life, and accident/illness coverage.

Located in Lawrence, MA, the Import Parts Specialist will read catalogs, quote prices, process orders, and ensure accurate parts staffing for daily shipments or pickups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with auto parts sales (Import preferred).
• CDK experience is a plus.
• Able to read and interpret parts catalogs.
• Fast-paced environment comfortable.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Telephone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a team member and assist other parts sales team members.
• Communicate with customers on parts status and pricing.
• Read and interpret parts catalogs to locate parts.
• Answer calls, provide quotes, and process requests.
• Pull and fill orders from stock and manage shipments.
• Notify manager of out-of-stock items and expedite orders.
• Process payments or credit authorization and bill internal orders.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup.

We are looking for an Import Parts Counter Specialist that has the knowledge to help meet the needs of our expanding parts business.

Commonwealth Motors is looking for an Import Parts Specialist to help support our team of technicians and provide our customers with exceptional experiences and product knowledge. We offer state of the art facilities and paid training.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

• Be a team member, offer help to other parts sales team members
• Communicate with customer on parts status
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
• Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
• Provides high level service to internal and external customers.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock
• Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Locates out-of-stack parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have experience with auto parts sales (Import preferred)
• CDK EXPERIENCE A PLUS
• Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Have strong organizational and time management skills
• Bilingual a plus
