Job summary

BDP International is seeking an Export Logistics Coordinator to manage export shipments from Houston, TX. You will handle data entry, document distribution, and coordination with carriers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with US customs requirements.

The role involves preparing export declarations, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate records. A college degree is preferred, and experience in ocean/air export is desired in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export trafficking functions and data entry for customer shipments.
• Monitor shipment status and report non-conformances.
• Maintain data tables, assist in accounting issues, and handle RFIs/RFQs.
• Prepare export declarations and Bills of Lading for Ocean Exports.
• Coordinate outbound movement of international freight shipments.
• Negotiate rates and services with third party carriers.
• Knowledge of Letters of Credit is a plus.
