Job summary

Pinkerton Payroll & Insurance is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist to onboard and set up new payroll clients. You’ll start with data entry, system setup, and learning our processes, collaborating with implementation, payroll, and sales teams.

As you gain experience, you’ll handle client communications, troubleshooting, training, and eventually manage implementations from start to finish. This role suits someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and enjoys solving payroll-system

Responsibilities

• Set up new clients in UKG Ready and review payroll data for accuracy.
• Enter and review company and employee payroll information.
• Configure pay rates, taxes, deductions, direct deposits, PTO, and timekeeping rules.
• Import and organize employee data using Microsoft Excel.
• Review information for accuracy and catch errors before go-live.
• Maintain client information and implementation progress in Zoho CRM.
• Assist with payroll and timekeeping testing.
• Gather missing information from clients and internal teams.
• Answer basic client questions during onboarding.
• Collaborate with payroll and sales teams for a smooth handoff.
• Use tools like UKG Ready, Zoho CRM, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Description

Pinkerton Payroll & Insurance is looking for a tech-savvy, fast-learning Payroll Implementation Specialist to help onboard and set up new payroll clients.

This role starts with a strong focus on data entry, system setup, accuracy, organization, and learning our processes. You will work closely with our implementation, payroll, and sales teams while learning how payroll, timekeeping, HR, benefits, and other systems work together.

As you gain experience, you will take on more client communication, troubleshooting, training, system demonstrations, and eventually manage implementations from start to finish.

This is a great fit for someone who is quick on a computer, highly organized, comfortable with technology, good with people, and enjoys figuring out how things work.
