Job summary

Novisync Solutions Inc. is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support NetApp and VMware environments. The role involves daily maintenance, ticket-based work, patching, firmware updates, and backups using Commvault. You will also implement automation and write PowerShell scripts to resolve issues.

The position is mostly remote with occasional onsite requirements arranged in advance. This contract lasts 3 months, with USC work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining NetApp and VMware environments.
• Strong scripting ability with PowerShell or similar.
• Experience with backup and restore using Commvault.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and support of NetApp and VMware environments.
• Monitor, triage and resolve tickets; perform care and feeding, patching, install upgrades, and firmware updates.
• Manage backup and restore processes using Commvault.
• Handle adhoc requests as needed by the team.
• Implement automation to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Develop and use PowerShell scripts to solve issues.

• Daily maintenance and support of NetApp and current VMware environment
• Monitor, work tickets, care and feeding, patching, install upgrades, update firmware, etc.
• Backup and Restore (Commvault)
• Support with adhoc requests
• Implement automation
• Scripting / PowerShell scripting to solve issues

Will work mostly remote but there will be occasions when resource will need to be onsite, which will be arranged ahead of time.
