Job summary

Linear seeks an experienced Implementation Manager to own enterprise customer rollouts from contract through launch and initial adoption. You will coordinate internal specialists with customer stakeholders to ensure predictable, timely, high-quality deployments.

Role requires strong program-management, risk mitigation, and clear communication in a remote-first North America setup. You will build playbooks, manage dependencies, and drive successful handoffs to customer success.

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise software implementations or complex customer rollouts.
• Strong program-management skills, including dependency tracking, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and accountability.
• Clear written and verbal communication, comfort operating in a distributed, asynchronous environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage implementation plans covering timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder ownership.
• Lead the post-sale handoff by validating scope, delivery commitments, complexity, and migration readiness.
• Coordinate workspace architecture, data migration, identity access, collaboration-tool integrations, and custom integration workstreams.
• Build training calendars and persona-based enablement plans, then organize phased rollout waves.
• Own go-live execution, adoption tracking, issue triage, and the handoff to the ongoing customer-success owner.
• Define repeatable implementation playbooks, improve delivery processes, and share insights to strengthen enterprise onboarding.

Own the full implementation journey for enterprise customers, from signed agreement through successful launch and the first month of adoption. Requirements

• Experience managing enterprise software implementations or complex customer rollouts from planning through launch.
• Strong program-management skills, including dependency tracking, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and accountability.
• Ability to coordinate customer IT teams, technical specialists, education teams, sales, and post-sale stakeholders.
• Familiarity with identity provisioning, collaboration integrations, migrations, and enterprise change management.
• Clear written and verbal communication, strong judgment, and comfort operating in a distributed, asynchronous environment.
