Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support 300mm tool capabilities in the Implant department. The role focuses on keeping equipment at peak efficiency, driving yield improvements, reducing defects, and leading cost-reduction projects in a 24×7 manufacturing setting.

You will monitor and troubleshoot equipment, lead tool qualification, coordinate maintenance, and analyze data to drive processing decisions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Chemical, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues across 24x7 FAB environment.
• Lead new tool qualification and coordinate maintenance scheduling with manufacturing teams.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and make processing decisions.
• Document SOPs and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Communicate updates to cross-functional teams through presentations.
