Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Implant Process Engineer for Anneal/Surface Treatment to join a skilled team. You will qualify wafer processes, transfer recipes, and ensure tool-to-tool output matching while maintaining process health.

The role requires 2+ years in semiconductors, familiarity with RTP or dry etch, and proficiency with data tools (Spotfire, JMP, MATLAB). This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and a focus on yield improvement.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a relevant engineering or science field.
• 2+ years semiconductor experience preferred with RTP or surface treatment knowledge.
• Experience with listed tools and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Qualify wafer fabrication processes on new tools.
• Gather metrology data and ensure film properties meet specs.
• Transfer/duplicate recipes across lines and ensure process matching.
• Monitor the process, respond to issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze data using Spotfire/JMP/MATLAB/Excel for SPC and trends.
• Draft/update SOPs and train technicians on procedures.
