Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a full-time, on-site Youth Development Specialist to coach K-8 students across campuses in the United States. You will run one-hour life-skills workshops, monitor progress with Coachbot analytics, and push each student to meet weekly goals.

The role emphasizes motivation, personalized coaching, and a strong standard of student care. Relocation support is provided for preferred locations, with in-person work at Alpha campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students: teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Willing to work in person at an Alpha campus with relocation support provided.
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and giving and receiving feedback.
• Run daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions that push every student to 100% of weekly app goals using Coachbot analytics and incentives.
• Administer the Test2Pass mastery assessment for each life skill, then re-coach any student who does not pass until they do.
• Adapt the workshop playbook and create new sessions to land material with a kindergartener and with an 8th grader.
• Be the adult who holds standards and provides a trusted point of contact for students.
