Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Specialist to coach K-8 students through high-energy life skills workshops and personalized coaching. You will lead one-hour sessions, use analytics to guide progress, and help students exceed weekly academic goals while building confidence and resilience.

This full-time, in-person role at multiple campuses offers day-one benefits and relocation support. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience are required, along with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with K-8 students through teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Ability to describe a specific example of motivating a student to achieve a difficult goal, including your approach and the outcome.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Run high-energy, one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students, developing communication, resilience, focus, leadership, and other durable skills.
• Coaching students individually and in small groups using Coachbot analytics and motivation systems to help weekly goals.
• Assess life-skill mastery and provide targeted coaching until genuine competence is shown.
• Adapt coaching style across elementary and middle school students for different developmental needs.
• Analyze weekly student performance data to identify patterns and improve outcomes.
