Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Specialist to lead high-energy life-skills workshops for K-8 students and coach them toward ambitious weekly goals. You will use Coachbot analytics to tailor guidance and monitor progress, helping learners build confidence, resilience, and ownership in a dynamic, AI-augmented environment.

The role is in person at Alpha campuses across the U.S., including New York City, with relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years working directly with K-8 students through teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Run high-energy, one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 students, building durable skills like communication and leadership.
• Coach students individually or in groups using Coachbot analytics and motivation systems to achieve weekly goals.
• Assess mastery of life skills via Test2Pass and provide targeted coaching until competence is demonstrated.
• Adapt coaching style across age groups from kindergarten to eighth grade to meet needs.
• Analyze weekly performance data to remove obstacles and improve outcomes for the cohort.
