Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Resources Coordinator to apply hydraulics and hydrology modeling to water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities, helping deliver safe water, flood control, and sustainable infrastructure.

You will produce design calculations, draft technical reports, collect data, and support geologic investigations while collaborating with engineers and project teams in our employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Apply design engineering and modeling techniques to water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities.
• Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection and presentations.
• Projects include flood control, river design, stream channel restoration and watershed issues.
• Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies.
• Geologic investigations and other duties as needed.
