Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Resources Design EIT/Coordinator to support project engineers in applying design and modeling techniques for federal, state and local municipalities. You will contribute to hydraulics and hydrology modeling, data collection, assimilation and presentations.

Responsibilities include producing design calculations, field and desktop data collection, development of client visuals, and preparing technical reports while aligning with HDR's employee-owned, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field required.
• Hydraulic modeling software experience (HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS) preferred.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Work under project engineers applying design and modeling techniques for water resource projects.
• Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater systems, data collection and presentations.
• Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies.
• One- and two-dimensional hydraulic analysis and model development.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and field/desktop data collection.
• Develop visual aids for client and stakeholder presentations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
