Job summary

Operators Unlimited is seeking a Wastewater Operations Team Lead to guide plant operations within permit limits and support the Director of Operations. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on expertise with wastewater systems.

The ideal candidate will manage contractors, schedule operations, and ensure safety and compliance across OU facilities while upholding core values and a commitment to reliability and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in the wastewater industry.
• 2+ years in a supervisor role.
• Have an appropriate wastewater license.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater plants within permit limits.
• Support the Director of Operations.
• Alternate wastewater operations scheduler.
• Manage wastewater contractors.
• Be action oriented: take initiative and drive improvements.
• Ensure safety and compliance at Operators Unlimited facilities.
