Job summary

Operators Unlimited in Greenville, SC is seeking a Wastewater Operations Specialist to operate a customer treatment plant and support our growth across the Carolinas and Georgia.

The role requires hands-on experience with wastewater treatment processes, strong safety discipline, and the ability to document flows, logs, and rounds. You will collaborate with the Director of Wastewater Operations to ensure permit compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the wastewater industry.
• Have an appropriate wastewater license.

Responsibilities

• Operate a customer treatment plant in Greenville, SC.
• Coordinate with Director of Wastewater Operations to ensure compliance.
• Document flows, logbooks, rounds, timesheets, and mileage.
• Understand pH, discharge permits, and basic treatment processes.
• Utilize Service Fusion, Acumatica and related systems with limited errors.
• Be flexible for off-shift and weekend hours.
