Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Warehouse Recycling Associate to support the efficient operation of recycling facilities by collecting, sorting, and processing recyclable materials. This role involves handling loading/unloading, inspection, and documentation tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include safe equipment operation, material handling, and maintaining accurate shipping logs; cross-training in related duties may occur.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interact effectively with others in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to follow health and safety regulations while operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safe loading and unloading of recycling materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools.
• Inspect, hand-sort, grade, and count recyclable materials.
• Create, prepare, and maintain all shipping documents and logs.
• Inspect Material Handling Equipment for repairs/maintenance.
• Ensure work area and equipment are clean and stored properly.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• May cross-train and perform other duties.
