The Brazos Valley Food Bank in Bryan, TX seeks a Full-Time Warehouse Driver/Worker (40 hours/week) to join our distribution team. The role reports to the Distribution Manager and includes managing deliveries, pallets, and paperwork in a fast-paced food-bank environment.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload, route planning, and ensure accurate records. A valid forklift/pallet jack skillset and a clean driving record are essential, with Saturday shifts on a rotating basis.

Formación

• Able to operate manual and electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications (Food Handler, Civil Rights, etc.).
• Pass a criminal background check and maintain a clean driving record.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, order systems).
• Excellent communication with donors, vendors and partner agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Unload donations and pallets, verify documentation and invoices.
• Load orders into vehicles and assist with deliveries and routes.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain VIR paperwork, delivery logs and receipts.
• Visit partner retailers for pickups and maintain productive relationships.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance, inventory counts and safety compliance.
• Adhere to agency policies and participate in safety trainings.
