Job summary

Operation Food Search is seeking a Driver and Warehouse Associate to manage daily distribution to our network of community food partners, perform donation pickups, and ensure safe storage of products. CDL Class B with air brake endorsement is required; forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities include operating a box truck with liftgate, loading/unloading, inventory monitoring, and assisting with volunteer activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on safety.
• Current forklift certification is preferred.
• Maintain a valid CDL Class B (or higher) with air brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate small box truck with liftgate and reefer.
• Loading and unloading donation pickups and drop-offs w/pallet jack when needed.
• Direct warehouse operations and ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
• Monitor organization inventory of food and other in-kind donations.
• Assist with volunteer center setup and break down for volunteer groups.
• Sorting donations to ensure quality and reporting expiration dates.
