Job summary

God’s Pantry Food Bank is seeking a Transportation Specialist CDL Class A to join the Operations team in Lexington. This full-time role involves driving CDL Class A vehicles and performing warehouse duties, with a 7am–3:30pm schedule and a 40-hour workweek.

The ideal candidate will maintain a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and work collaboratively with staff and donors in a fast-paced environment. Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A vehicle safely and legally.
• Load and unload trucks ensuring product integrity.
• Deliver and pickup products as needed.
• Maintain CDL Class A license and DOT Medical card.
• Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections and log DVIR.
• Drive other GPFB vehicles and assist warehouse tasks as required.
• Interact courteously with agencies, donors and staff.
• Assist with loading/unloading for donors and agencies.
• Operate power equipment as needed and keep a clean, safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
