ACCEL Schools is seeking highly qualified virtual Intervention Specialists who believe every student deserves high-quality instruction and are committed to creating impactful learning experiences for every learner.

This online position serves students primarily via virtual instruction with eligibility limited to Ohio residents; you will collaborate with classroom teachers, conduct diagnostic assessments, facilitate IEPs, and monitor progress to support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• High level of comfort in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations, debriefs, and action planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to interpret abilities of students and assist in intervention strategies.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders about student progress and growth.
• Willingness to take on cross-team assignments and projects.
