Job summary

Banner Life Insurance Company in Frederick, MD is seeking a Training and Quality Specialist to plan, create and execute training programs across all phases, partnering with management to identify needs and drive customer service excellence.

The role conducts ongoing quality control, supports onboarding, coordinates sessions, documents policies, and keeps current with industry developments. Travel may be required; compensation includes benefits and incentives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of training and development experience (designing, developing, and presenting adult learning philosophies) or similar position.
• Experience with change management, organizational development, performance management, talent management and learning & development.
• Knowledge of life insurance products and concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff skills.
• Conduct ongoing quality control of work product.
• Support onboarding with training plans and evaluations.
• Perform needs analysis and coordinate with managers to update training.
• Schedule sessions and arrange rooms/equipment.
• Document and develop department policies and manuals.
• Stay updated with industry developments.
• Assist with resolving system or procedural issues.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
