Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our hospital team and help patients overcome speech and language challenges in a setting dedicated to rehabilitation.

You will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized speech-language therapy plans, document patient progress, and collaborate with a dedicated care team to deliver compassionate care across our nationwide inpatient network.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Speech Therapy as required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Cert. of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language therapy plans.
• Identifying issues and modifying treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories and progress along the way.
