Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to deliver personalized therapy and support to patients in our hospital-based rehabilitation network. You will evaluate, design, and implement plans addressing speech and language needs, working within a collaborative team to help patients communicate more effectively.

Qualifications

• Active licensure or certification in speech-language pathology per state regulations.
• CCC certification or eligible for certification through ASHA.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred; or Bachelor's degree with relevant field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
