Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, create and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs, working within a supportive environment that values patient progress and teamwork.

This role emphasizes ongoing assessment, documentation, and modification of treatment plans as patients improve, with access to advanced technology and resources.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred
