Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and administer individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs. You will assess progress and tailor therapies to maximize communication gains while collaborating with the care team.

You will document outcomes, adapt treatment plans as needed, and contribute to a high‑quality, patient‑centered rehabilitation program within a nationwide leader in post‑acute care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
