Job summary

BASIS Texas Charter Schools is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Bright, dedicated Exceptional Student Services Team in the Austin metro area. You will deliver targeted therapy to close communication gaps, set ambitious student goals, and engage families in achieving them.

As part of the role, you will manage IEPs with 100% implementation, lead ARD processes, and collaborate with Diagnosticians, LSSPs, and OTs to ensure comprehensive evaluations and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders required.
• Texas licensure as Speech Language Pathologist (TDLR) required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification; CFY accepted.

Responsibilities

• IEP management and delivery with 100% implementation of services.
• Track ARD timelines and document annual / re-evaluations.
• Collaborate with Diagnosticians, LSSPs, and Occupational Therapists for ARDs and evaluations.
• Conduct formal speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations per IDEA/TEA guidance.
• Maintain daily therapy notes, logs, and quarterly progress reporting.
• Support RTI implementation across multiple tiers in the school setting.
