Job summary

BASIS Ed in Dallas is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our Exceptional Student Services team in the Dallas Metro Area. The SLP will collaborate with campus leaders, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes through targeted therapy and data-driven progress tracking.

Requirements include a Master’s in Communication Disorders, Texas licensure (TDLR), and ASHA CCC-SLP (CFY accepted).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders.
• Texas licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (TDLR).
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification; CFY accepted.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• IEP management and delivery of top-quality speech therapy services.
• Ensure ARD timelines and document annual and re-evaluation ARDs.
• Collaborate with diagnosticians, LSSPs, and OTs for dual ARDs.
• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations per IDEA/TEA guidelines.
• Maintain therapy notes, logs, and quarterly progress reports.
• Support RTI implementation across school levels with recommendations.
