Job summary

BASIS Ed is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Exceptional Student Services team in the San Antonio region. The SLP will design and deliver therapy to close communication gaps, set ambitious student achievement goals, and actively engage families in the process.

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus leaders, teachers, and diagnostic specialists to ensure compliance, accurate ARD processes, and data-driven instruction within TEA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist (TDLR).
• CCC-SLP certification by ASHA; CFY interns accepted.

Responsibilities

• IEP management and delivery: review IEPs and collaborate with families and educators to implement services.
• ARD leadership: track timelines and schedule annual/reevaluation ARDs.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration: work with Diagnosticians, LSSPs, and OTs for dual ARDs and evaluations.
