Job summary

BASIS is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in the Austin Metro Area. Under the supervision of a Certified SLP, you will deliver therapy, track progress, and collaborate with campus leaders and teachers to maximize student outcomes.

The role involves travel between assigned BASIS Texas campuses and is an on-site, full-time position. Preference for candidates in-region or willing to relocate, with a focus on compliant documentation and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas License as an Speech Language Pathologist-Assistant issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Review IEPs designed by Supervising SLP and ARD Committee and ensure 100% implementation of therapy.
• Implement the treatment program or IEP with collaboration of parents, general educators, special educators, and interventionists.
• Provide appropriate feedback to students as to accuracy of their responses.
• Maintain Therapy Notes, Tracking Logs, and Billing logs daily and review with the Manager and Supervising SLP weekly.
• Submit Therapy Logs on a Quarterly Basis to their Manager.
• Complete documentation by district timelines and obtain co-signature of supervising SLP.
