Job summary

BASIS Texas Charter Schools are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to maximize student outcomes across regional campuses. You will design therapy, set ambitious goals with instructional leaders, and engage families in pursuing those goals.

The role involves collaboration with teachers, diagnosticians, and therapists to close communication gaps and track progress within TEA timelines. Local travel is minor; on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program required.
• Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (TDLR) required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required; CFY interns are accepted.
• Strong skills in evaluation, habilitation, and data-driven therapy.

Responsibilities

• Review IEPs and ensure 100% implementation of speech therapy services.
• Lead ARD timelines, document annual and re-evaluations.
• Collaborate with Diagnosticians, LSSPs, and OT for dual ARDs and evaluations.
• Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments using IDEA/TEA guidelines.
• Maintain daily therapy notes, logs, and quarterly progress reports.
• Support RTI implementation across school levels.
