Qualifications

• Education Masters Degree, Speech Language Pathology (Required) or Doctoral Degree, Speech Language Pathology (Required).
• Experience 1 year Speech Language Pathology (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for severe expressive and/or language disorders.
• Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.
• Carry out treatment plan and modify to maximize therapeutic benefit and meet discharge criteria.
• Record patient's progress and modify the plan of care.
• Build trusting collaborative relationships with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient care needs.
• Actively participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Assist in training and support of all team members, volunteers and students.
