Job summary

PACS is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral, develop treatment plans, and supervise CFY/SLP assistants in direct patient care. The role requires license maintenance and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include documenting notes, participating in conferences, and assisting with discharge planning while ensuring compliance with state practice acts and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY/Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in patient care.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisors and care team.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver training.
• Document evaluations and treatment notes per policy.
