Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a licensed speech-language pathologist to plan and administer a comprehensive speech therapy program for patients/residents recovering from illness or injury. You will review referrals, evaluate records, and develop written treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians, documenting progress, supervising aides, and participating in department meetings to refine policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology and CCC, or CFY; licensed in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient records to determine required speech therapy.
• Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on data evaluation.
• Consult with physicians to obtain patient information and integrate speech therapy with other care.
• Record patient treatment, response, and progress.
• Assist rehab director and administrator in planning services.
• Supervise speech therapy aides and supervise student training in clinical settings.
• Diagnose and evaluate speech and language competencies including swallowing and related factors.
• Direct and conduct treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency.

Education
