Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Valid unrestricted license in the state.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and long-term care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complies with facility policies and procedures for documenting, billing and coding for residents receiving speech language pathology and audiology services.
• Provides resident information needed for assessments per policy (signs of swallowing disorders, speech and hearing patterns, BIMS, etc.).
• Provides information for Medicare/RAI processes and functional cognition requirements upon admission.
