Job summary

Summit Care LLC seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of speech, language, swallowing, cognition, and voice disorders. You will help design functional treatment plans, supervise CFY Therapists and students as needed, and collaborate with patients, families, and facility staff to ensure high-quality, compliant care.

The position requires an accredited SLP program, state licensure, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology License to practice in appropriate state(s).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective leadership and customer relations skills.
• Ability to exercise mature judgment with initiative in analyzing and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Assures execution of doctor’s orders.
• Evaluates and treats motor speech, language, voice, cognitive or dysphagia disorders.
• Develops and implements treatment plans with functional outcomes.
• Oversees therapy records and ensures accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, schedules, and documentation for reimbursement.
