Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA-CCC preferred) or CFY in progress.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clinicians and facility staff.
• Licensed in Alabama with eligibility to practice as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer a speech therapy program for rehabilitation.
• Review referrals and patient records to determine treatment.
• Coordinate with physicians and health practitioners for integrated care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Supervise aides and participate in staff training.
• Assess speech, language, swallowing, and related skills.
• Develop and direct treatment programs to restore communication efficiency.
• Maintain third-party reimbursement documentation.
• Attend department meetings and participate in policy development.
