Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders. You will formulate individualized treatment programs and work under physician supervision to implement care plans.

Responsibilities include administering tests, developing rehabilitation plans, and educating residents and families. State licensure is required; ability to travel to SNF locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Proficiency with applicable state, federal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
• Under physician direction, provide direct patient treatment based on established plan of care.
• Screen and evaluate residents and develop appropriate care plans.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative abilities.
• Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and practice new skills.
