Job summary

Reliant Management is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat individuals with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The role includes creating tailored treatment plans, counseling families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a state license, and CCC-SLP credentials.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for assessment and planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with attention to documentation.
• Proficiency with relevant software and patient health databases.
• Experience with pediatrics, geriatrics, aphasia, or related disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on goals.
• Provide direct therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, and language issues.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and therapy techniques.
• Maintain accurate records including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, teachers, and staff for coordinated care.
• Stay current with research and best practices in the field.
• Supervise assistants or trainees as required.
