Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication challenges. You will evaluate needs, develop evidence-based interventions, and deliver or supervise therapy aligned with IEP goals in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas SLP license and CCC-SLP certification (ASHA).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students' needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students' special education programs.

Education

Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program)

Texas licensure for SLP

ASHA CCC-SLP certification

Bilingual skills preferred
