Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and schools. Must hold a Master’s in SLP, active Texas licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP. Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

You will evaluate needs, communicate findings to families and district staff, and collaborate with the ARD committee to design interventions that boost student access to education. Therapy may be delivered directly or supervised, with progress tracked over time.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
