Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments.
• Experience: at least one year student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEP through the ARD process for each student assigned.
• Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs and show written prep evidence.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies reflecting students' learning styles and needs.
• Work with classroom teachers to modify regular curricula and assist special education students in regular classes.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings regularly.
• Conduct assessment of student learning styles and use results for planning.
