Job summary

Soundtrace is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain a platform used by thousands of workers for hearing health. You’ll work across the full stack from frontend to APIs and cloud infra, shipping features that protect people.

You’ll collaborate with product, design and clinical teams, participate in code reviews and sprint planning, and contribute to testing, CI/CD and monitoring. 2–5 years of experience and strong web tech background preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid grounding in common web technologies — modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, server‑side development, and relational databases.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup where you wear multiple hats.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communicator who can work effectively with non‑technical teammates.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve features across our web and mobile applications.
• Work across the full stack of a modern web platform — frontend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and clinical teams.
• Ship code to production regularly with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Help maintain and improve our testing, CI/CD, and monitoring systems.
