Job summary

Easterseals of southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a Social Worker to provide services in our Philadelphia Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. The role focuses on connecting families to services, navigating resources, and coordinating intake.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Pennsylvania Social Work license (LSW or LCSW) preferred.
• Experience with early childhood, special education, or disability services strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and family engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support families in navigating community and educational services, ensuring access to resources.
• Manage new referrals and the intake process to help families begin services.
• Provide social work services addressing family needs and strengthen home-school connections.
• Participate on IEP teams contributing expertise to service planning and family support.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to promote holistic outcomes.
• Advocate for families to ensure continuity of care and equal access to supports.
