Job summary

T&K Pediatric Services seeks a Social Worker to join our Early Intervention team, helping infants and young children and families identify developmental needs, set goals, access resources, and build daily-life strategies.

Community-based services emphasize collaboration with families, travel, and coordination with other professionals serving the child, ensuring comprehensive support.

Qualifications

• ND license, credential, certification, or eligibility
• Experience with infants/toddlers or young children with developmental differences preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood development and family-centered intervention
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage documentation and multiple responsibilities
• Ability to work independently while communicating with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Complete developmental assessments and evaluations
• Participate in determining developmental goals and intervention strategies
• Provide Early Intervention services based on each child's individual needs
• Work directly with parents and caregivers
• Help families incorporate developmental strategies into everyday routines
• Connect families with appropriate resources and community supports
• Coordinate with professionals involved in the child's care
• Communicate with families, childcare providers, medical professionals, and community resources as appropriate
• Monitor developmental progress and make recommendations as needs change
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing training
• Maintain professional, respectful, and confidential relationships with families
