Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students with communication challenges in our school-based settings. You will conduct evaluations, communicate findings to families and district staff, and collaborate with ARD to design targeted interventions.

You may deliver therapy directly or supervise assistants, maintaining progress records and adapting strategies to meet IEP goals. Join us to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for students’ special education programs.
