Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and collaborate with school teams on ARD decisions. You will evaluate needs, share findings with families and district staff, and develop targeted therapy to improve communication skills and academic access.

The role offers full-time hours with flexible scheduling, competitive pay starting at $53 per hour, and benefits designed to support your growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas SLP licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel with clear communication.
• Collaborate with the ARD committee to create evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
