Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas (TX).
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Bilingual skills required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech-language needs of students and conduct comprehensive evaluations.
• Communicate evaluation findings clearly to parents and district personnel.
• Develop targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the ARD committee.
• Provide therapy services or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and related discussions to support students' services.
