Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a Student Services Specialist to support scholars under the district’s ISD 279. The role involves developing individual goals, evaluating progress, maintaining records and reporting to licensed administrators.

The candidate will coordinate with guardians, enforce district policies, manage classroom activities and provide learning services in person and online as needed. Flexible hours may be required to meet district needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MN teaching license in Speech Language Pathology.
• Willing and eligible to apply for a Tier 2 license if not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Provide goals and objectives for scholars as per IEPs.
• Evaluate scholar performance and maintain required records.
• Communicate with guardians/caregivers and coordinate with district administrators.
• Perform classroom management and ensure district policies are followed.
• Support in-person, synchronous and asynchronous learning as applicable.
• Be flexible with work hours to meet district needs.
