Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a Student Services Specialist to support and inspire scholars, develop individual goals, and evaluate progress under the IEP. You will maintain records, report to administrators, and communicate with guardians to foster student achievement.

Position is full-time with multiple school assignments (Brooklyn Middle School, Maple Grove Middle School, Birch Grove Elementary). Flexible hours and district leadership participation are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MN teaching license in Speech Language Pathologist field.
• If not licensed, must be willing to apply for Tier 2 license.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support in the assigned area, including writing and implementing individual scholar goals and objectives per the IEP.
• Evaluate scholar performance according to goals in the IEP and maintain required records and related reports.
• Maintain contact with guardians/caregivers and work with them on each scholar’s development; perform classroom management and enforce district rules.
