Job summary

California State University, Monterey Bay invites applications for a Reception and Outreach Coordinator within the SDAC. You will manage the reception desk, field inquiries from students and staff, schedule advisor appointments, and support AIM application processing and outreach activities across campus.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, handles confidential information with discretion, and provides administrative support to the director and advising team.

Qualifications

• Experience handling a reception desk and inquiries from students and staff.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with administrative workflows and confidential information.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and timelines efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide receptionist services and schedule appointments for students and faculty.
• Manage AIM applications and verify advisor availability for assignments.
• Assist SDAC outreach and social media communications and event planning.
• Support the Director and advising staff with administrative tasks and reporting.
