Job summary

St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Payroll Administrator to oversee biweekly payroll, benefits, and compliance. You will work with Human Resources and the Business Office to support faculty and staff.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in payroll, experience with Paycor, and strong Excel and customer service skills to ensure accuracy and timely reporting. Bachelor's degree preferred; nonprofit education experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of payroll administration or related experience.
• Experience with Paycor payroll processing and onboarding is required.
• Experience supporting payroll and benefits in a school, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, reporting requirements, and benefits administration.
• Strong Excel, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to build positive relationships with employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage biweekly payroll processing and related payroll activities.
• Support onboarding, payroll records, and benefits administration through Paycor.
• Serve as a resource for employee payroll, benefits, and timekeeping questions.
• Assist with compliance reporting, audits, and payroll-related recordkeeping.
• Partner with Human Resources and the Business Office to support accurate payroll operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage system capabilities.
